I’m 30 years old and have been married for eight years. I had a myomectomy/laparotomy at age age 26 to remove a grapefruit-sized fibroid. I had a laparoscopy at age 27 to remove my right ovary and tube as a result of stage IV endometriosis that caused a cyst on my ovary. After six unsuccessful months on Clomid, my OB/GYN referred me to a reproductive endocrinologist. He discovered another fibroid that had grown while I was recovering from my myomectomy. One year and three operative hysteroscopies later we began preparing for IVF. We are now preparing for a frozen embryo transfer after one failed round of IVF and one IVF that ended in a chemical pregnancy.
